About This Item
A solid walnut bowl with a hand-carved wooden bear sitting on an embossed glass lid. The bowl is lathe-turned from a single piece of walnut — warm, dark, and deeply grained — with a circular embossed glass lid that catches the light and reveals a delicate floral pattern pressed into the surface. The bear sits on top, carved from the same walnut, small and perfectly proportioned. Use it as a jewelry dish, a fruit bowl, a desk trinket box, or simply as a sculptural object that happens to have a lid.
Why You'll Love It
- Single-Piece Walnut Bowl — Lathe-turned from one block of solid walnut — rich, dark, deeply grained → a bowl that outlasts its contents
- Embossed Floral Glass Lid — A delicate all-over floral press, light-catching across the whole surface → quietly extraordinary against the dark walnut
- Hand-Carved Walnut Bear — Same walnut as the bowl, small and perfectly proportioned → the lid has a resident
- Beautiful Closed, Beautiful Open — Jewelry dish, fruit bowl, trinket box, or pure sculpture → it earns its place either way
