About This Item
A carved wooden cat looks up at a tiny brass lamp glowing above a miniature bookshelf — and the lamp actually works. This hand-crafted desk sculpture combines four premium hardwoods, a brass lamp arm, and a battery-powered warm-glow bulb into one object that is simultaneously a night light, a bookshelf sculpture, and a carved cat figurine. The cat is carved and inlaid from rosewood, North American black walnut, amboyna (padauk), and cherry wood; the bookshelf and base are black walnut and amboyna. All surfaces carry natural wood wax only — no lacquer, no paint, no stain. The slender brass arm curves over the shelf, ending in a small walnut shade with a warm-glow bulb inside, powered by a button cell battery (included).
Why You'll Love It

- Four Premium Hardwoods — Rosewood, North American black walnut, amboyna, and cherry — natural wax finish only → the colors you see are the wood's own
- A Complete Miniature World — Open-frame bookshelf with carved books, the cat standing beside it, looking up → a scene with its own story
- Hand-Crafted Tolerance — Approx. 15cm tall (5.9") with a ±0.5cm (0.2") hand-crafted tolerance → no two are perfectly identical
