About This Item
A solid wood disc, hand-turned from natural rosewood or green sandalwood. Seven small wooden balls sit in a circular groove around the center — each one free to roll. At the center, a carved copper-coin disc carved with traditional fortune characters. Hold it in your palm, press your thumb against the balls, and roll them clockwise. The motion is smooth, continuous, and genuinely meditative. In Chinese tradition, the spinning wheel form carries the meaning of fortune turning in your favor.
Why You'll Love It
- 7 Free-Rolling Balls + Copper-Coin Center — Each ball rolls independently in the circular groove; the center carries traditional fortune characters → one thumb, one direction, endless rhythm
- Two Aromatic Woods — Rosewood (warm, fine-grained) or green sandalwood (deeper, lightly fragrant) → both develop a richer patina with handling
- Smooth, Continuous Motion — Clockwise thumb-rolling with no stops and no rattle → genuinely meditative
- Traditional Meaning — The spinning wheel form carries the meaning of fortune turning in your favor → an object with a reason to exist
