About This Item
A sitting giraffe, hand-carved from solid basswood and hand-painted in warm yellow and rich brown — legs tucked, dark brown hooves, and expressive cartoon eyes that look straight back at you. This is a desk figurine that is more delightful than realistic: more companion than sculpture. Each piece is individually carved and painted, so slight natural variations in color, grain, and finish are expected — no two giraffes are exactly alike, and that is the point of genuine handcraft. The painted finish is sealed with a lacquer coating for protection and longevity, so the colors stay vivid under normal desk conditions. The sitting pose is compact and stable — it settles calmly on any desk, shelf, or office surface without tipping.
