About This Item
Touch it once. Watch it find its own stillness. The Kinetic Balance Mobile is a three-sphere dynamic balance system built from solid wood spheres, a curved metal wire arc frame, and a weighted dome base. The spheres are suspended at different heights and positions along the wire arms, each counterbalancing the others through the arc frame's ring-joint pivot system. The whole structure responds to the lightest touch or passing air current — the arms swing, the spheres arc through space, and the system gradually settles back into equilibrium. Two styles: Bold Color (blue, yellow, red) and Minimalist (black, black, wood).
Why You'll Love It
- Self-Settling Balance — Ring-joint pivot + counterweight tuning → moves with a touch, rests on its own
- Solid Wood + Metal Arc — Wood spheres, chrome wire frame, weighted dome base → clean kinetic-art construction
- Two Compositions — Bold Color (Calder-adjacent primaries) or Minimalist (black/black/wood) → match the room, not the other way around
- 25cm (9.8") of Presence — Tall enough to notice, small enough for any desk → a conversation starter that settles back on its own
