About This Item

The Wooden Crane Scissors Holder is a handcrafted desk organizer built from Cherry Wood and Sapele Wood using traditional mortise and tenon joinery — a functional scissors holder shaped as a crane, a symbol of grace and longevity. The crane is assembled with no nails, no screws, and no adhesive: a construction method from fine furniture and traditional woodcraft, used for centuries. Cherry Wood provides warm reddish-brown tones that deepen with age; Sapele Wood adds darker, ribbon-grain contrast — all natural wood color, no paint or stain. The base carries hand-carved wave patterns, each slightly unique, finished with eco-friendly wood wax oil.

Why You'll Love It

  • Traditional Mortise & Tenon Joinery — No nails, no screws, no adhesive → centuries-old construction, strong and long-lasting
  • Cherry + Sapele Natural Contrast — Warm reddish-brown against dark ribbon grain, no paint or stain → colors that deepen with age
  • Hand-Carved Wave Base — Wave patterns carved by hand, each base slightly unique → a detail that shows the maker's skill
  • Crane Symbolism — Grace and longevity → a meaningful organizer, not just a clip holder
  • Free 20-Character Base Engraving — A name or a message on the base → the elegant gift gets personal
