About This Item
The Owl Black Walnut Wood Pen Holder is a handcrafted desk organizer in FAS-grade solid black walnut, with maple wood inlay eyes and beak — inspired by Athena's owl, the classical symbol of wisdom. FAS (Firsts and Seconds) is the highest grade of hardwood lumber, selected for minimal defects and consistent grain, so the piece carries exceptional visual quality and structural integrity. The owl's face is formed entirely by natural wood contrast: White Maple inlay against the deep walnut, no paint or stain. The panels are over thick — substantially thicker than typical wood desk accessories — which gives it real weight and a solid feel.
