About This Item
A round-bodied cow stands upright, wide dark muzzle forward, small oval ears to the sides, two short horn stubs above. The pale rubberwood body is smooth and sphere-shaped, its warm natural grain showing across the surface. The muzzle, ears, horn stubs, legs, and oval base are African blackwood — one of the densest, darkest hardwoods, with a near-black deep brown tone and fine straight grain. No paint, no stain: the cow's two-tone marking comes entirely from the natural color contrast between the two woods. Wind the key and the mechanical movement plays one of two songs — Castle in the Sky or Für Elise.
Why You'll Love It
- Two-Tone Solid Wood — Pale rubberwood body against dense African blackwood details, no paint or stain → natural contrast that deepens with age
- Wind-Up Mechanical Movement — No batteries — the movement plays on winding → music that works for decades, not charge cycles
- Two Classic Songs — Castle in the Sky or Für Elise, chosen at checkout → a meaningful melody for the recipient

FAQ
Which songs does it play?
Two options, chosen at checkout: Castle in the Sky (the Ghibli film theme) or Für Elise, both in music box tone.
Are the colors painted on?
No — the two-tone look comes from the natural contrast between pale rubberwood and dense African blackwood. No paint, no stain.
Does it need batteries?
No. It's a wind-up mechanical movement — wind the key and it plays.
