About This Item
A jellyfish, carved from solid maple wood, moving through invisible water on your desk. The Jellyfish Mechanical Music Box is a kinetic wooden sculpture driven by an internal electric mechanism — motor, rocker arm, connecting rod, gears, and bearings — that animates the tentacles in a slow, undulating motion, each flowing independently the way a real jellyfish moves through water. The solid maple base houses a wind-up music box with a metal winding knob and a clear window that lets you watch the mechanism turning as the music plays. A built-in light glows from within the base, illuminating the maple grain from below and casting warm light up through the tentacles. Type-C rechargeable.
Why You'll Love It
- Electric Tentacle Motion — Motor-driven rocker arm, connecting rod, gears, and bearings → each tentacle flows independently, organically
- Visible Wind-Up Music Box — A metal winding knob and clear window in the maple base → watch the mechanism turn as it plays
- Lit From Within — Built-in light glows through the maple grain up into the tentacles → warmth you can see through the wood
- Type-C Rechargeable — No batteries to replace → wind, charge, and watch
