About This Item
A metal bird that flaps its wings. Continuously. On your desk. The wings are metal — thin, articulated at the shoulder, and shaped to the proportions of a real bird in flight, their surface catching light with every stroke. The mechanism is motorized and USB-powered: a gear system translates rotational motor force into a genuine up-down flapping arc, not a simple rotation. The motion is rhythmic, smooth, and genuinely hypnotic. A speed controller is included — adjust the flap rate from slow and meditative to fast and energetic. Two editions: Standard (engineering-plastic gears) and Precision (metal gears, smoother and more durable).
Why You'll Love It
- Bionic Flapping Arc — A gear system drives a true up-down wing arc, not rotation → the motion reads as flight
- Thin Metal Wings — Articulated at the shoulder, flexing slightly at the tips → light catches every stroke
- Speed Controller Included — From slow and meditative to fast and energetic → set the pace of your desk
- Standard or Precision Edition — Plastic gears or metal gears — smoother, more durable → choose your build level
