About This Item
A solid cherry wood perpetual calendar with a knob-wind mechanism. Three windows display the English weekday, month, and date — turn the knobs to set the date, and it stays set until you change it. No annual replacement, no paper pages, no batteries. The body is solid cherry wood — warm, dense, and naturally reddish-brown, with a grain that becomes more characterful over time. An original designer piece that sits on a desk and tells the date with the quiet authority of something built to last.
Why You'll Love It
- Knob-Wind Mechanism — Three windows — weekday, month, date — set by turning smooth, tactile knobs → the date becomes a small physical ritual
- True Perpetual Calendar — Cycles through all date combinations — no annual replacement, no paper pages → set it once and it stays right
- Solid Cherry Wood — Dense, fine-grained, not veneer — deepens to a richer reddish-brown with age and light → a desk object that improves over time
