About This Item
A hemisphere of solid wood — black walnut and beech fitted together into a globe form, the continents visible in the grain contrast at the top. Four independent rings stack beneath the cap: spin the outermost ring to set the month, the next for the tens digit of the date, the next for the units digit, and the innermost for the day of the week. A small red dot on the base marks your position. No batteries. No screen. No notifications. Just wood, and the quiet ritual of turning the rings each morning.
Why You'll Love It

- 4 Independent Rotating Rings — Month, date tens, date units, day of week — each on a precision-fitted axis → setting the date becomes a quiet morning ritual
- Perpetual, Not Annual — No batteries, no screen, no notifications, no yearly replacement → the date is always within one turn

FAQ

No — it is a fully mechanical perpetual calendar.
What are the 'continents' made of?
The continents appear as the grain-and-color contrast between the solid black walnut and solid beech fitted into the globe form.
