About This Item
A hand-carved low-polygon whale, split into two halves — a painted upper body and a white lower base — with a wooden mallet resting through the middle. Pick up the mallet and tap the whale. It makes a hollow, resonant knock — the same satisfying sound as a traditional wood block, but shaped like a whale. The upper body is painted in deep navy blue or coral pink; the lower base is left in natural white. Set it on your desk between taps and it's a genuinely charming decorative object.
Why You'll Love It
- Hand-Carved Low-Poly Whale — Faceted solid wood form — geometric and sculptural → looks intentional, not novelty
- Hollow Percussion Knock — Tap with the wooden mallet for a resonant, hollow wood-block sound → a satisfying rhythm when the desk gets quiet
- Mallet Included — A small round-headed wooden mallet that also rests in the body when idle → it doubles as part of the sculpture
- Two Colors — Deep navy blue or coral pink over a natural white base → choose the whale that fits the desk
