About This Item
Ten mirror-polished stainless steel balls suspended on fine steel wires from a stainless steel frame, set on a solid black wood base. Pull one ball back and release — the momentum transfers through the row, the opposite ball swings out to the same height, returns, and the cycle repeats. Ten balls deliver more visual mass in motion and a fuller swing arc than a standard five-ball cradle. No batteries. No motor. No power source. Just conservation of momentum, playing out on your desk.
Why You'll Love It
- 10 Mirror-Polished Steel Balls — More mass in motion than a standard 5-ball cradle → a fuller swing arc
- Stainless Frame + Black Wood Base — Corrosion-resistant steel over a substantial, weighted solid wood base → stays in place, executive-desk aesthetic
- Kinetic Motion, No Power — Pure momentum transfer — no batteries or motor → it keeps going until friction decides otherwise
- Gift Box Edition — Arrives boxed and ready to present → no wrapping needed

FAQ
Why does the opposite ball swing to the same height?
Conservation of momentum and energy: the impulse transfers through the aligned row, and the last ball swings out to nearly the same height, repeating until friction slows it.
Does it need batteries or a motor?
No — it runs entirely on mechanical momentum.
How is 10-ball different from 5-ball?
Ten balls add more visual mass in motion and a fuller swing arc before it comes to rest.
